Meaningful Movement Services
Introducing an integrative approach to healing trauma by incorporating both the mind and the body. There is a growing body of evidence that strength training can facilitate greater reductions in the effects of trauma than traditional therapy alone (1,2). This integrative approach will incorporate principles of trauma treatment with individualized movement plans to help participants build strength, their sense of power, efficacy, and improve their connection to the body. Sessions offered in individual or group format with Dr. Komarek who holds additional certification as a personal trainer.
